You are also protected by distance selling regulations whereby you can order goods receive them and review them within 14 days. Should you be unhappy with these goods or wish to return them they must be received in a re-saleable condition, made available for collection or returned to Cornish Firewood at your cost. Refunds will be made once goods are received and you will receive notification of this.
Upon receipt of your goods please advise to the driver or call Cornish Firewood as soon as you note an issue or problem with your order and will work with you to remedy this.
For national deliveries using a pallet courier we will arrange for collection and refund your order value less the cost of collection. Your statutory legal rights are not affected by this policy.
Returns and Restocking Charges
Goods that have been delivered, signed for or inspected prior to delivery by the customer, and are subsequently returned, may be subject to a restocking fee of no less than 30%, applied at the discretion of the company.
Please note that delivery charges are non-refundable.
Items damaged in transit
If you take delivery of a package from us and the contents have been damaged in transit, we will exchange the damaged items without charge to you provided you return the damaged item(s) to us within 30 days of taking delivery.
Defective items
You have the right to return a faulty item within 28 days along with proof of purchase.
Incorrect Items
If we have sent you an incorrect item, please notify our Sales Department as soon as possible or within 28 days and return the incorrect item to us and specify the correct details in writing. If you would like us to replace the incorrect item with the item you ordered we will send you the correct item as soon as possible or alternatively we will refund the item once it has been returned. We will not charge you for the incorrect item and we must have the incorrect item returned before investigating.
Costs
We will refund the cost of returning incorrectly despatched items.
Until you return items to us you are responsible for their safe keeping and taking reasonable care of them. We do not accept liability for returned packages damaged during transit back to us. It is your responsibility to wrap products adequately to prevent damage.
Bark and Oak Products Returns Policy
Due to the nature and weight of Bark and Oak products, we are unable to offer free returns where the product is not faulty.
If you have ordered online and the item has been delivered—either handed over directly or left by our delivery team, and you decide you no longer want the product, return of these items is at your own cost. The goods must be returned to our warehouse in a resaleable condition. Please contact us to arrange a suitable time for return.
